As we are getting into November, KCSAE has a lot going on.  In addition to our monthly meeting, there are many opportunities for you to learn best practices and network with new colleagues.  No matter where you are in your career, there is a way for you to get involved and be engaged with KCSAE.

Are you at the CEO level? Our CEO Roundtable is a great way to interact with your peers and discuss topics of interest to the C-suite.  Don’t miss the upcoming deep dive discussion continuing our monthly meeting topic: Keep your eyes on the horizon but watch the cliff! Do you like to give back? At times, our CEO members will also support the Emerging Professional Special Interest Group by being speakers and hosting joint events.

Are you an advance professional? Our Advance Professional Special Interest Group holds meetings on various topics throughout the year.   From Developing Your Nine Second Networking Introduction to talking about Social Media: Guidelines for Professional and Personal Use.  This group looks at developing skills to help you get to the next level.  Interested in the CAE?  We have a CAE Study Group that can help support you as you study for the exam.

Are you a membership professional?  Our Membership Special Interest Group hosts meetings geared toward diving into membership on a deeper level.  The next topic, Empowering Your Volunteers to be Your Membership Committee, will be very engaging.

Are you an emerging professional? Our Emerging Professionals Special Interest Group gathers to network and learn skills that are needed to get to the next level.  The upcoming EP Bootcamp, is a great way to learn new skills and help you get where you are wanting to go.

Are you new to association management, and not sure what this is all about?  Our Association Management 101 course will help untangle the acronyms of our industry.  This one day course is designed to give an over view of all aspects of association management.  Look for more details in the spring on dates and location.

In addition to all that is going on, each month we have general programming of interest to all KCSAE members.  Don’t miss our upcoming session Keep Your Eyes on the Horizon but Watch the Cliff!  We also offer discounted prices on webinars throughout the year.  Don’t miss our upcoming topic of Conducting a Great Business Meeting.

There are many ways to be involved in KCSAE.  From the special interest groups to volunteering on a committee.  Don’t miss out on an opportunity to learn, develop, and have fun!
